Tenebrae
Irreducible complexity is the equivalent of saying an arch couldn't exist because if you removed a piece of it would collapse.
GorunNova
Duh! Only people who are grasping at straws to preserve their religious beliefs actually hold on to the 'irreducibly complex' argument. Hell, such an assumption as 'irreducible complexity' is considered a fallacy in logic (i.e. failure of imagination, aka the 'I can't imagine it, so therefore it can't be' fallacy.) There are so many varients of the eye in all stages of development out there (i.e. from simple 'is there light' light-sensitivity through to the superior eyes of eagles) that any argument that the eye is irreducibly complex collapses like a house of cards in a wind tunnel. Of course, as that's what he based his models on (i.e. things that actually are lying around in nature), there ya go! ^^
