TetsuoShima
Hey, it's actually nice to see TNG getting owned big time for a change, the rest is pretty even with a slight advantage to the more popular shows. Though I have to admit, I wasn't expection to see nobody vote for Enterprise-D, neither was I expecting the original Enterprise to get an equal support as NX-01. I wonder if these stats will remain in the same balance... Let's see some votes. :)
TFMF
Yeah i was deffinetly expecting more votes for the ENT D and less for TOS to be honest It's actually just struck me another bridge i have missed out  The Enterprise E....
Tenebrae
You should have probably out DS9 and Defiant seperately too. And if you wanted to be complete - you'd probably have tossed in Runabout and Delta Flyer. Lord knows Runabouts get enough screentime in DS9 to deserve it. TFMF
Runabouts were cool - they could take a lot more punishment than the average starship could take :) And inside they were spacious as well The Delta Flyer....hmm....it looked good outside but inside it was a bit of a mess really... Tenebrae
Yeah, the layout of the Delta Flyer was a bit overly cluttered for my tastes - the 2 tier system seemed to be a bit uneven, although I suppose that was a concession to the shape of the ship. The analogue controls were so lame - I suppose THAT was a concession to the mandatory expert on 20th century Earth. Runabouts were Trek TARDISes though, they never really seem that big but then they've got a couple of rooms and a garage in the back... Far more realistic as interstellar craft than shuttles. TFMF
lol yeah - there was an episode in TNG - i can't remember exatly - season 5 or 6 i think - and some of the crew were on a runabout - the ship had a massive breifing room/dormitory in the back - way too big for the size of the ship :)

hayden
Yeah' date=' the layout of the Delta Flyer was a bit overly cluttered for my tastes - the 2 tier system seemed to be a bit uneven, although I suppose that was a concession to the shape of the ship. It had its own decent sized (if you may call it) science/medical bay.. i thought that was prettty nifty it gave it a huge advantage over a run about or shuttle.. But those stupid arcade machine controls were horrid, it was like he was about to start a game a metal slug. aha
Tenebrae
I don't think it was hugely different to the Runabout... although, in true Voyager style it seemed like a 150ish people trapped in the Delta Quadrant with "limited" resources could knock out something in a few weeks that seemingly comprehensively beat Runabouts in terms of speed/weapons/durability/ etc. The 2nd Delta Flyer was probably markedly better than a Runabout in terms of accomodation. GlaC
The ship attached to voyager was kinda pointless aswell... Never used... Why didn't they never think of completing that ship? (if that was the reason for not using it)
Steveo
The runabouts were, well, useful. Shuttles were about the size of my room and about as much use as a bloody choloclate fire guard.

Tenebrae
This has been a topic of conversation several times. The aeroshuttle. It had a miserable warp speed but was mainly for atmospheric flight. You can see it in just about every single episode of VOY. Link
TFMF
:stare: i noticed that weird shape in Voyagers hull but i never actually realised it was another ship :D
TetsuoShima
Darn, that thing is useless... Even a PuddleJumper is faster than that. (ah, wait, wrong show :D ) I meant, even the recent ordinary shuttle is faster than this, a simple shuttle can go warp 4, and also go through planetary atmosphere... Silly feature indeed, that aeroshuttle...
GlaC
Maybe it had other advantages to the standard shuttles.
TFMF
Maybe it had other advantages to the standard shuttles. Seems to be good for traveling through atmospheres - meant to be 450% better than shuttles enduring atmospheric turbulance....apparently....
