In a way this auction will bring Star Trek back into the public eye and hopefully many will remember how great this show was compared to the many weaker Sc-Fi shows that are running at the moment (sorry BSG fans!) As a collector myself I know that many like minded people do look after their collections very well...........going to the expense of temperature controled rooms etc this is another level of care which Paramount cannot afford to provide for each prop. Any publicity for Star Trek in my opinion is a good thing......and I do hope we see Star Trek return soon.........I miss that show badly.
