According to Dreamwatch SciFi, the BBC have confirmed that season three of Doctor Who will commence on 31st March. In addition, we can reveal that the series had originally been planned to launch on 24 March,(Yay, I guessed right initially) indeed this is stated in the new issue of Doctor Who Magazine, but the schedule was changed earlier this week when it was decided that BBC One would be screening England's European Championship match against Israel on that Saturday. The start time is likely to be the traditional 7pm slot. As moderator, Ill be posting the Episode thread on the day of broadcast and will unlock for comments immediately after airing! Doctor Who's main opposition on ITV1 is likely to be a repeat of the feature film Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, the second film in the series. This is the exact same film that ITV put up against the start of Series 2. It achieved 5.1 million viewers against New Earth's 8.6 million.
