Hilander72
I've read so many of his novels and is partly the reason I got interested in science and science fiction. There's currently a movie in production based on one of his best novels and hopefully it will be as great or even better than 2001: A Space Odyssey (which is based on several short stories of his). Rendezvous with Rama

Rendezvous with Rama That should be a good one. Looking forward to it.
dBLOOD
I think "Rendezvous with Rama" is better than Space Odyssey series, I love that story. I just hope they do not screw it up...
TheWind
He will be certainly missed, he was unbeatable at articulating complex stories but maintaining an incredibily good readbility. I've read most of it's works and he outstands not just by the acuracity of it's insights on the future, but for it's optisim. Just a correction, 2001 grows from a single short story of his called "The Sentinel" and for Rendezvous with Rama, well I liked the story but it's nowhere near the deeps of 2001, or Childhood's End. Amnot Borg
How did I miss this thread? R.I.P Mr. Clarke. Thanks for the stories and memories. Childhood's End? That was an interesting novel.
