I realised a few days ago that I hardly watch any TV. The shows I enjoy (basically just sci-fi) I can download or get from my friends. I realised that on Australian free-to-air it's basically all crap with the exception of a few cartoon shows and ONE channel's news. I was wondering what other people thought about it, do you enjoy watching TV for hours on end? Or is there only the rare show that you watch?

I liked the original team (from the start of the series, not the movie), Daniel, Jack, Teal'c, Amanda, maybe bring back Kawalski to, he was cool :D

Stargate is based on reality... I even asked an Air Force officer where it was and he told me he wasn't allowed to say ;) :p

Soon after the Wormhole is discovered a bunch of people come through and say they found "the eye" or something, apparently they were the first ones to find it in thier race, but their worlds were part of the Dominion I think, so that would signify that the Dominion would not have known about the wormhole before the federation discovered it.

Well, at least the post makes sense, no matter how crazy it is :p

Oh please, sure you have the right to tell ReSiStEnC if something he's said offends you, but seriosuly, going from asking him not to open his mouth if he doesn't have anything nice to say to calling him a leecher who knos nothing, isn't helpful and that you basically hate him is pretty mean, and probably against a rule of some sort. Don't judge people by thier post-counts, it's not like the ranks matter, and ReSiStEnC happens to be rather well known on the IRC channel (a half-op I believe). Don't accuse people of being leechers if you can't view thier ratios, for serious, no proof whatsoever. Since I like to be nice, i'll tell you a little about myself, I don't speak Dutch! It's nice to know that quosego is managing to help you (since I don't know Dutch I'm assuming that's what happneing.) But it really is quite rude to, in the middle of a conversation, switch to Dutch. I run a website... although not a downloading one. I really don't see that that has much to do with it. On a site as big as this Nite can hardly monitor ALL torrents uploaded, and also, to download the torrent, you must click on it, clicking on it brings up a list of files on the stats page for it. Seriously... calm down and start being reasonable. You'll notice that there's a lack of Voyager under Niteshdw's torrents.

well i doubt there could be a ship manned by spys Isn't that what Tal'Shiar ships are? I thought that the Obsidian Order and Tal'Shiar joined forces to attack the Dominion? Although I haven't seen all of the war yet. Please correct me if I'm wrong. So... we have this. a) The Obsidian Order was badly defeated by the founders. b) The Tal'Shiar were defeated by the founders, not as badly as the Obsidian Order. However, they did ally themselves with the Obsidian Order, a "lesser" force in many people's opinions. c) Section 31 itself was never defeated by the founders. Or at least no-one found out if they were. So, correct me if i'm wrong again, but didn't Starfleet win the war against the Dominion? The Romulans and Cardassians lost. Above it shows that the Obsidian Order were, judging from what I've read, the least powerful of all the agencies. The comes the Tal'Shiar then Section 31. .'. Section 31 reigns supreme over all other intelligence agencies. :rolleyes: Of course in the end it comes down to personal preference, and who you think is cool. And although I seem to have found that they were the worst I voted for the Obsidian Order however, so awesome... so Cardassian. :p [/rant]
