Well there is a topic with ideas about it... I surely hope that some of them get used. GorunNova has a nice concept that I think would prove fun. I would like to take this opportunity to *beg* everyone to participate in the discussion. Here: http://forum.nitescifi.com/index.php?topic=9068.0 Fun fun fun. I take no credit whatsoever. I just want to perpetuate the enjoyment I have gotten.

Well I figured Hilander72 was a fiend... that wasn't too hard, and it was before the Vampire postings that I figured it out. But I was wrong about Queenspock. I was absolutely certain Soze was a fiend. Why? Because he was so aggressive and complainy (yes, "complainy" is NOT a word, I know this ;) ). Oh well. One out of two isn't bad.

Yeah, I am a total ass sometimes. Okay well... most of the time. Okay well, it's more like: sometimes on Sundays when the moon is full and cosmic rays are bouncing off of Venus at severely acute angles into my temporal lobe, I might NOT be an ass. It's never malicious though. Never. That's not in my nature. Soze, maybe you aren't aware of something. Whilst there is a nice core clique of people at nitescifi that do know eachother and interact outside the forums, I am on the outside of it. I can easily detach myself from this community and not give a flying bleep about it, and have done so a few times for a few months at a time since I've joined. I come here because i just like to, not because I have any real stake involved. So, there are no politics going on to protect me. Out of everyone here, I am probably one of the biggest asses... I see someone is conveniently forgetting his own "emo-riddled whiny" posts wherein he complained about the game being ruined and that nobody was playing nice with him because he was a newbie. ;)

I don't doubt that nite is trying to get to the bottom of this like anyone would, I'm just saying we'd all like to know if and when the cause is found.

Due to the recent troubles (again), all the ideas for spicing up and possibly improving the Niteshire game were unfortunately lost. So if you wouldn't mind, please repost what you can remember. I had a few lists myself, but I will simply summarize them: 1.) A change of setting might be nice for role playing, such as a large starship or a mysterious secret underground complex, maybe a huge castle with hidden passages, etc. The ideas are endless. 2.) There are a huge number of different fiend types we can use, and of course you can just make something up. For example, if I wanted to write funny deaths, I might have a fiend that controls the laws of probability. It would make for some very interesting attacks. Of course, we can also use something from a TV show, like Cylons. 3.) There was also the topic of multiple fiend types in the same game and the issues/difficulties presented in concealing when one of them has been voted out. 4.) There was a small debate about jobs with actual in-game skills and whether or not this would mean people would get targeted based on their abilities. 5.) Depending on what type of fiend and setting is chosen, the rules can change. Someone had an interesting idea about using Aliens movie-like xenomorph parasites (I forget who had that idea) and spelled out how they might like to see it effect the gameplay. Though I don't like the idea of special skills very much, I did like the idea of having the fiend move from player to player, killing each one as the round is over and giving the infected person the choice of who to infest next. I have to admit, that sounds really neat.

I hope that crime scene investigation report comes in time, and that the mayor and the doctor have signed off on it. Otherwise I am going to vote against Keyser Soze. I was under the impression police officers were supposed to.. ya' know... investigate crimes. Just a friendly reminder.

Well, if the next killing is also a vampire attack then it is pretty safe to say that we've gotten rid of 1 fiend. So there is a bright side, no? The Police Officer, in conjunction with the Doctor and the Mayor, need to do a complete investigation of the body and the crime scene looking for clues. Oh, and somebody read that book on vampires to make sure the body isn't coming back to life. ;D I'm not voting until some clues get in. Who's with me?

Personal texts a.k.a. custom titles/random text under avatars aren't showing up in posts. The only place they show is in profiles. Is this on purpose? Once upon a time, they did show.

I do know one thing. The next victim is probably not going to be me. Aside from mupi, I received the most votes (three). That means that the wolf/wolves will likely leave me alone since I'm a shoe-in to be voted out next. Well, we'll see how it goes. Now, if I was a wolf, I would want to kill the least offensive person right now. What do you think?
