Hey My Keyser Soze , the police officer... you forgot to arrest me for attempted murder. I oughta suspect you for that much alone... then again, my suspicions are clearly founded while yours aren't so I'd have to let it slide. ;)

That's more like it! Finally wising up, I see... except you are now showing what you are. Ladies and gentleman, there is your wolf. Attacked and left alive because wolves don't kill their own. Supposedly on drugs which are so powerful that he is unable to reply to accusations - unless feeling threatened of course, which is rather conspicuously convenient if I do say so. Obviously they had hoped to create a trusted person, someone who would never get voted out. mupi has just said so himself; he thinks he should now be the one and only trusted villager. How transparent! I'm not buying it. The attack failed because it was intended to fail. Each wolf round is a free guaranteed kill; they don't mess up unless the intention was to leave the supposed victim alive. And now we have a wounded villager who claims to be the only trustworthy person, yet we know that it is an obvious fact that this cannot be the only possibility. Again, I vote mupi, and you should too. ;D

It is "Arktis", and I am glad to see someone fell for that.

mupi, if you were smart, you'd be pointing the finger at someone. Me, for example. That just convinces me even more that you're guilty, unable to think clearly under pressure. Or a pillow. :D

I am voting against mupi, who was attacked by a wolf but left alive. I'm sorry, but the implications are far too obvious. That's why I tried to do you all a favor by getting rid of the problem myself. Before I die by wolf-mauling, I urge you all to do the smart thing and vote against mupi. Also, I would like to thank Megalith for suspending me from my suspenders uh, I mean getting me out of that dress... Augh! :o I mean letting me take off my clothes. I mean...! :o I mean that I am glad I don't have to wear that stupid outfit anymore because Megalith suspended me. :-X

With a pillow clenched between two tense fists, Nurse Arktis slowly crept into the room where mupi was sleeping. *Click! Clack!* "Damn these noisy high-heels!", Nurse Arktis begrudged to himself. "Just because I am the town nurse, the villagers insist that I wear the traditional uniform even though I'm a guy! And high-heels aren't even part of tradition... I swear, these villagers are all friggin' nuts!" Arktis stooped to adjust his stocking suspender. *Snap!* Unfortunately for Arktis, the loud sound of his suspender had awoken the patient. His silent approach foiled by noisy attire, Nurse Arktis stomped awkwardly forward and placed the pillow firmly over mupi's face. "Nnnng-Mph! Mrrrp-hrh! Mwrph!", muffled mupi. "What's that you say?", Arktis darkly jested. "I can have all of your stuff?" "Mhph-phwr!", strained mupi. "'Yes sir', you say? And I can have your job, too? Fantastic! Finally, I can ditch this stupid costume!", exclaimed the soon-to-be ex-Nurse Arktis with glee. Unfortunately for Arktis, his skill in wearing heels was fairly poor. In all the excitement, his left ankle chose that exact moment to lose it's fragile posture and Arktis was sent tumbling to the floor. Poor Nurse... foiled by women's shoes. How embarrassing. :D

The honestly labeled spam threads were at least more entertaining...

I want to read more stories. Come on! Well anyways, it lasted all this time without any problems, so all of you who thought it would fail and/or break something were totally wrong! :o Couple points of clarification: 1.) The card was an FX 5200. 2.) Rounding DOWN, the fan I used is roughly 3''x3''x1''. More than enough, no? Pretty powerful little sucker, too... I've already bruised two fingertips on it. If the blades were sharp, then I'd have lost some blood. Even with all that cooling power, a specific area of the card was still getting really hot (even with the fan directly on it) while the rest stayed surprisingly cool. I think that denotes a problem with the board... :P It was working okay though... basically, my x server was no longer crashing during 3d accelerated game play... or so I thought. Instead of locking up right away, it took a lot longer with the fan on it. Around 3-4 single player missions in Freespace 2 Open. Again, the rest of the board was staying nice and cool, which was unusual. So I think my FX 4200 is b0rked. :'( I just took it out just now and swapped in an older card. Good news though, the two boards I have in there now don't require fans. I'm using an ancient agp TNT2 for my 2ndary display and a GeForce MX 4000 for my primary display. Not exactly top of the line, but good enough for me. I don't need a powerful gpu. Now I am tring to figure out what to do with my 3" fan. Yes, the fan blade part alone has a 3" diameter. Any ideas?

The fan JUST NOW started to make strange noises the exact instant I hit the reply button... Good idea. Not sure it will work, but I'll see. Yes I am aware of the "hot spots", and I stayed away from them. Now if you will excuse me, I am going to investigate a strange and alarming noise :o PS I laughed pretty hard when I read your beer can anecdote. ;D

There are so many characters on this show I just hate, and yet I keep watching. Lee is right there on the top of my list of people I hope will die soon, right underneath Starbuck. This episode just reminded why. Characters I hate in order of greatest to least: Cally, Starbuck, Apollo, Boomer and the rest of her model (maybe I just hate grace park), Tigh's wife (thank god she died), Tigh, The Chief, Leoben (I actually LIKE to hate him though). Some great Baltar stuff this episode, just like I hoped. Can't wait for the trial.

So my GPU fan died on me. It was causing system lockups for about 2 months until I finally made the discovery. I have been running on the standard non-accelerated nv driver until now. I didn't have any spare fans, so I took the one off of my case door and taped it onto the graphics card with electrical tape. I am a total cheapskate. It's working superbly for the time being, and it's a fairly large fan so I have no doubt that it is way better than the one that came with the card. What I am wondering is, was this really wise? Is the tape going to melt and ruin the card and/or allow the fan drop off and start rattling around inside my case, or what? What should I use instead? The tape was the only thing I had handy at the time, and keep in mind how unbelievably cheap and impatient I am. If I can't get something locally down the street for cheap, I don't really want it.
