They should bring back Takei, Koenig and Nichols for sure in the new movie. It would be awesome to see them playing characters that are towards the end of their professional starfleet/civilian careers.

I think Enterprise was a bit of a hit and miss show. They just tried stuff and hoped it would work out in the end. What we got was a series with great potential and some really great episodes but some of it did not make sense. Soval going from distrusting Archer to suddenly liking him? And what about Admiral Forrest and hios sudden aboutface in season four when he yelled at Archer? These were odd things to occur in such a short timespan. I would have preferred Enterprise going on exploration missions instead of tactical, political and rescue missions. It just got a little bland after a while. When the show started I was all pumped up for it. I stayed enthusiastic for the whole first season. Season two got a little slow at first but started to get better towards the end of the season. Season three was one-big gigantic story arc that turned out ok but showed that the writers didn't really know what to do with the series. Season four was good but got a little violent for my taste. By the time season four ended I was like, yeah I remember that series, it used to be good but now I'm just waiting for the new star wars movie. Season four of enterprise was ok, it had some really good episodes but looking back I don't think it was good enough to save a sagging series like that. Even now I don't think it could have gone on the way season four wrapped up.

We can only hope that the new movie will be good. Having Shatner and Nimoy would increase fan enthusiasm for the movie. Bringing Kirk back after what happened in Generations would be welcomed I think by fans overall.

I hope the new movie is good and that they follow the canon. It's not star trek if they have the crew firing turbolasers instead of phasers.

Captain's Chair, now that's a game I haven't heard of in a long time, a long time. I'm surprised it works at all in winXP, hence why I think win98 is good to have around for these things. I've been trying to get Starship Creator working for a while now but no version seems to work with XP. I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually.

Is BFII multiplayer stable? If so, I wouldn't mind giving it a try one day.

I recommend win98. It was much more stable than win95 and from what I learned it was much more stable than winME. I still use win98 and I actually prefer it to winXP. As for Vista, I don't think I'll be upgrading to that system for some time to come.

Sounds like a DS9 remake to me. Why not put this proposed season four into season one?
