  1. Lets all remember that this is ALL theoretical. I mean in all honesty we dont even know if the space time continuum exists. Hell we can make a warp core in a week if we just had anti-matter, or even knew what it was! All we know for sure is that we can make good guesses. - Zebin

    Voyager reruns in NY

Also in Houston! Doesnt really help when you have all the seasons but its just good to know its back on somewhere! Only reason i got into Star trek is i used to come home early on weekends and the only thing on was Star Trek, got infected and now i love it. - Zebin
  3. So out of all the episodes i have seen of all Star Trek series i notice one reoccuring theme. How come ships keep getting Holodecks when they cause so many problems? Sure they are entertainment but would'nt you just want to have a TV and get cancer rather then have your head lobbed off by a malfuntioning character? I mean how come every time power goes down the safety protocals are always the first system to go off? You would think that the designers might come up with a back-up supply or not have safety protocals at all and make it 100% safe. - Zebin P.S. this topic is in no way meant to offend any who have or have family with a cancer related disease, i appologize if i offend anyone, Thank you. :)
  4. I really like voyager but i must agree. Yet one thing i have noticed is there seems to be a trading of ideas among sci-fi shows. Like i have seen sargate episodes that relate to star trek etc. Can not cite exact examples but i think you guys catch my drift. Another thing, although you seem like a cool person do you honestly think you could come up with 22-24 new ideas each year without taking some old ideas? I mean i have wished for episodes that expand on past stories but i dont know if they would be any good. - Zebin
  5. They could have called it anything but then it would not have been "special" and indendent. I also agree lets not waste prescious show time figuring out how a piece of technolgy works. Lets just call it voodoo and watch the backs of the other cylons that they refuse to show us. They are quite shiny ;D. - Zebin
  6. I think we are thinking way too into this. Kirk is alive and the gun was made from the ashes of his enemies that he killed with his hate...duh. - Zebin
  7. I like sci-fi exactly for that reason. It is an escape from the reality of the world. This is the exact same reason people roleplay or play online games, to feel different from who they are. And on the subject of Klingon's, i dont know em that well so i cant say much but we must accept that every culture has their own sense of honor and from the outside it may to others. - Zebin
  8. I kinda disagree with what your saying. Although i respect your opinion about the Delta Flyer it may have been built by many but it was the brain child of Tom Paris. Yet that is just my idea, i can see what your saying. - Zebin
  9. Well although i was steamed about it before i have had time to think about it. I still think a third series would be bad but stargate has given me a lot over years. Heck it is what originaly inspired me to check out the Air Force (i know how nerdy that sounds), and it has just been a great ride. Yet as with all producers money is a serious object, and if we will watch it then they will make it. And on the political subject, it may be annoying at times but all militaries have politics, that may be annoying but its smewhat realistic...ya know...misus the big gate and space travel thing... - Zebin
  10. First of all i need a new keyboard, i have no idea why my spelling is so messed up. So sorry if anyone had trouble reading. Next yes they are great but Paris...i just love the guy....not in a...well ya know...way. He was just really cool. - Zebin
  11. WOW this is going to be awsome! I CAN NOT WAIT! Maybe it will be about a stargate on a ship and about its crew. That would be awsome, then they can name it Enterprise and it would be completely fresh! This is sad, Atlantis was pushing it in the begining and now 3 series.....common....want us to just give your money to stop? Please? I love stargate but 3, thats just pushing it. - Zebin
  12. I love Battlestar on sunday! Makes it so more accesible for those of us who do things regularly overthe weekend. Then before i go back to school i am able to watch one of the best shows on television to brighten the week ahead! Its great. Any conflicts? - Zebin
  13. Hi all, i live in Houston texas and i was just curious if anyone had heard about any conventions about any sci-fi (but especialy Star Trek comming) to Texas. If not know where i can find out about any? Never been to one but i would reallynjoy it. Thanks all. -Zebin Anyone like the title? witty? No?....alright....
  14. I have found a nice medium. Star Trek some nights, Stargate others. I dontt find Doc Who too appetizng to my sci-fi diet but thats just me. I suld really give it another try from all the good reviews its been getting. I love the new time on sundays for Battlestar Galactica and the Dresden files is alright (might just be in texas but i dunno). But in conclusion i miss Star Trek but i like having an abundance of sci-fi to fill my time. One show can get knda boring. - Zebin
  15. You all have great ones, i mean we have to admit they were all dynamicaly different. But how can you just reject the cheekybutt hole that is Tom Paris? The man who had the dream for the delat flyer! He was just so full of ideas that it made the serso much fun to watch. I mean how many episoded were basdoff his irish city program? or the delta flyer? or his relationship with Belana? So i guess you can say in my opinion he is my favorit, but i am the new guy so why listen to me ;D - Zebin
