  1. htt://www.angrypenis.org That's the stupidest thing I've ever seen.. Interesting twists and turns on this debate btw. Hey Pella, I agree with Elderbear! *Thumbs up*
  2. Sure, but that's not all that different from this forum. Elderbear, my thoughts exactly - the whole point was actually "meatspace" or "meet-space" if you will :D
  3. hm we have 400 views and only 50 votes so far - interesting. Well, we've already been through that issue - which shouldn't obviously BE an issue unless (like they did in Sweden) we have "spies" around here working in secret for the MPIAA :D Don't get scared away now...
  4. Lol, somehow it's very much like ones AVATAR becomes part of "you" just like the style one has or cloathing you know, sort of like an expression more or less* Hey thanks 1337cow! I like yours as well - it's simple! atleast 8 because it easily identifies you on the forum. Gladio - hey we seem part of the same team? Although I'd say you have a bit more "fashion" in yours than I have :D 9points!
  5. In B5 they had a nice solution for that; Humans had evolved into something like the Vorlons and they all left long before the Sun went bonkas.
  6. Lol, well Skippy, maybe so! Though I thought it would be kind of original being "me" rather than using aliases (both in picture and name) I actually tried today to change it for a "His Shadow" image but it was too big and I don't have any programs what-so-ever on this computer so I can't really do a darn thing about it :stare:  (ever since my old HDDs burned up..in flames..sort of) But I'll see what I can do, later on - I also kind of got inspired to use something cool just like Phoenix got inspired!
  7. Dax - brighter than spock and hotter than most other ladies :D Maybe Janeway if I was really stoned and drunk and had nothing else... J/K! :D
  8. nice going Symok, very artistic! a clean 8
  9. Very Good! I'm impressed. Great quote from the poster btw. clever thing indeed!

Sexy but she's kinda old now :D
  11. And don't forget - any kind of space rubble could make the ship into a schweizer cheese! (you know cheese with LOTS of holes in it) :D
  12. Yep to *.* Funny thing though on Starwars forums is that some bright people actually keep asking "why does Anakin have to become evil???" Hahahahaha ;D "'nough said" What I hate about Charmed is that it sucks without "Cole" (Julian McMahon) and the characters are so stupid. "Hey we're all perfect and good and to hell with everyone else"....as they say in the UK about 14-year-old-girls-behaviour; Bunny Boilers!!!

Nice! What/who's face is in the background?
  14. Only by a little! Thanks though - but hey that's pretty much me or how I used to look (I have chest-long hair now) back in 02. So there are really not that much of stretch, I'm pretty big and wide (well use your grays :p) I'm thinking about changing it for my passport picture instead - I took it just before I went to England in New Years a few months ago - it looks cool, like a badass criminal :D But... I'll have to get my scanner up and running again and scan it (ohh lotsa work) I sort of put the scanner away for a while since I haven't worked with my concept art for a while but soon I'm back! Sorry for going off-topic :D Hey Vystral, the Nine-Inch-Nails logo is kind of "tough" so it's a 6 pointer from me
  15. Now, don't blow this up to unrealistic proportions. A smaller "mini-con" or get2gether would probably max out around 100 or so people at most (well we have around 20000 members, but only a small portion of those are somewhat FORUM active and only a smaller portion of these half-actives would be interested in doing something at all) I'm all in for whatever that may come from this but as I stated above I never thought EVERYONE would want to or try to attend :D so that's NOT going to be a problem (obviously). So don't doom the idea in advance, aight? There are several options on HOW to handle things and organize etc. once we have a good idea about what we can do as a large group or as a smaller group. I'd certainly do whatever I can to be able to say hi to Elderbear, Nite and anyone else interested in doing something cool (+ watch movies, chat around, see places etc). - In addition to my earlier post. So keep voting, keep posting! Good job people! - and... stay on topic!
  16. CHECK THIS OUT: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/4391835.stm It's very interesting...
  17. Hehe, maybe it's just a form of male corset? :D Thanks Oma it did work although I don't see the reason why it didn't work for me in the first place (since I had already done as you recommended) Sorry off-topic*
  18. Karim: 8 points from me because it's a cool scene! Gen. Lee, nice family pic :)
  19. True enough! When it comes to choice and behaviour and all that, we do all have something called "core belief system" sort of the operating program (dos/linux/kernel/win etc.) of "us". I'm not going to expand on the subject here because a thread would easily fill 3-4 A4 pages and I'd rather TALK about instead of writing it. However yes one can argue that all is based on impulses and fluids and hormones and instincts and so on and so forth, but that is just a little bit ONE-sided, BLIND-sided and slightly cynical. Of course a lot of different factos IMPACT other factors which IMPACT what we think, how we feel, what we like, don't like etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. but to an extent, we actually -do- make choices all the time. Thought is a process just like many areas (all) of life. There are processes and those processes have a set of mechanics and there are effects (results, cause/effect). Understanding some mechanics helps one understand WHY "I" did what I did and can be helpful in making sure ones "Automatic (corebeliefs)" actions / thoughts etc. MAKE the results we "want". This is in short but as I said I don't want to expand too much on it right now - I'd have to write myself to death. But we certainly make a lot of choices and some choices are choices we didn't take (tricky there). so to speak.."not choosing is also making a choice"...also as stated before, some things are chosen through passive/automatic - most of them we're mostly unaware of - unless we make certain to BE aware of them. And we CAN make many many choices - however impacted things may be by other factors. Many times we make choices that are impacted before we made a choice meaning that something ahead of the thought process of choosing between something given already "made" us feel inclined towards something - but still maybe some choices aren't 100% pure or free choices, however it's still a choice however "small" one - this is hard to write down in a clean manner (as this post isn't pre-prepared by me). Well if we'll eventually get our Niteshdw Con I'll make sure to talk further on this subject and in more detail.
  20. hm..the link doesn't work?? :D duh - check the link adress :D "tracker.thompson-web etc." Btw. is it possible to create a link in the signature that DOESN'T get stuck on the tracker.thompson etc. adress??
  21. Well, that indeed is a tough nut however impossible - jacking up GWB to an interface would only create an infinity of new viruses and blue screens  :cyclops: :p :D ;) And besides, I think he would need more PSYCHOLOGICAL assistence first =) Late Show / Letterman always has a small clip feat. GWB. Reporter - "What is your opinion about our financial situation?" GWB - "........... *5 minute silence* *rolleyes* *huh!?* .." End of clip :) :D ;) - 'nough said! But enough of funny off topic topological answers and back to topic!
  22. Lol well, Elder, as usual I agree :D Though it was quite a few threads - someone opting for next rank? hahaha J/K. But of course, even at the level we're currently at; there are thousands and thousands of different small things to "master". Most people can't even breath correctly (a martial arts or similar master can easily spend 5-10 years JUST focusing on that, and then we have ballance and the list goes on..) But of course, genetically toughen tendons and flesh and muscels and arteries and just about whatever would be a good thing, I believe so - but still the matter of tapping our innate potentials in many areas still remain AND would of course further enhance any ground-up / basic enhancements. But then to go one step further, why not combine a little of the two (three) options? Infojacks and some good stuff that we can't do organically and then improve on a genetic/organic level as far as that one goes.. hm.. best of both worlds? :D
