Then you have games that defy reason. Case in point: Sins of a Solar Empire. Sins is an amazing strategy game of unrivaled depth and scale. The interface is beautiful and the learning curve is an easy one. Sins brings elements from RTS and turn-based strategy games together in one incredible product. Why does it defy reason? The game has no copy protection. None. Not a serial or activation anywhere to be found.

Much better than the last 2 episodes or so. The scene where Starbuck saw the comet was pretty big...that means they're getting close. Also, the scene with the hybrid...

that was kind of a surprise. now we're no closer to figuring out Starbuck's whole situation.

You have a really good point, gjnave. It is very difficult to predict where the movie franchise will go from here. Several things could happen after the new movie comes out. Maybe a new version of the original series on television (ala Battlestar Galactica) Maybe a post-TNG era film (I think this is unlikely, but I would like to see one) Maybe another prequel film featuring the TOS characters (ala Batman or James Bond) Paramount is trying to emulate the success of the film reboot franchises of late (Batman, James Bond, Incredible Hulk, etc.) So, logically we might surmise that Paramount would opt to produce another prequel film with the TOS characters. I guess we won't know for sure for a while.

Sure it does. I'm using it on a local network. Makes it so much easier to share files and compatible services cross-platform. I have 2 Windows desktops, 2 Windows laptops, one Debian desktop and one Ubuntu laptop all connected to my local network and using Hamachi. Everything works perfectly smooth (much more smoothly than the networking services contained in the afore-mentioned operating systems). I know there is an OSX version of the client, so I can imagine it would work just as well. However, I haven't used OSX in a year or two, so I may be wrong.

There is definitely a build-up going on. I too am hoping it is not as anti-climactic as Baltar's trial. Something big will happen soon. I think someone will find Earth. I feel that this will happen earlier than we might think...
