I'd rather not even listen in on such a conversation.

I had a colleague once who insisted on relating all the lunchtime conversations he'd overheard in public places, especially the really gross ones, and criticizing the people on whom he'd been eavesdropping for even having these conversations in public. So, I asked him once, if he thought these topics were so objectionable, why did he repeat the details of these conversations to us, his colleagues, and he got really mad. Go figure.

I had no idea Canada was so starved for comedy :P

All this talk of spam has made me hungry.

Has anyone here actually tried spam??

I havn't tried spam no

I have spammed though - A LONG TIME AGO.....;)

When I was growing up we didn't get Spam. (I guess we lived in a deprived neighbourhood or something.) We got something else called Prem, or something like that. We used to fry it and add maple syrrup or brown sugar to it. It goes great with eggs too.

Now I wonder what Prem stands for, and whether or not it has anything to do with 'stupid pointless annoying messages,' like the one I just wrote?

What's with all these meat words being used in different contexts:

"Spam floods my inbox."

"I've got a beef." (something like that, beef can be used to say problem or something.)

"I've got a bone to pick with you."

"Stop acting like a lamb chop."

Grr, meat words used for other purposes... :cyclops:

Spam by any other name would still be meat. :)

I wonder how much actual meat it contains. Meat pies have on average no more than 25% meat in the filling.

Except for "100% Beef" pies... a bit puzzling what the pastry is made of :p
