x5315
A dell laptop I'm sure it runs fine. And it looks like kinda cool. But still. It's got a 20.1" screen. Too big? Too much money?
dizzyg
its hardly a laptop, more of a ... erm ... i dont know what it is? but whats the point of it. immagine the power needed for 20" LCD and a 8 speaker system with a sub! your normal battery would last off of 10 minutes so youd need like 8 batteries. so it wouldnt be a laptop ... Amnot Borg
20 inch for a desktop is great but on a laptop, it's not necessary but I like it. Provided they figure out a decent way to cool the thing off before I actually set it in my lap.
Tenebrae
My current dell laptop is around 6kg, gets less than an average of 1 hour on the battery (the battery is the size of my fist) and is massively fat. Can't wait to get an even bigger, heavier, fatter, uglier one.
Guest Mrthumps
Looks like an other case of something designing something for style and not thinking about if it's practical.
Tenebrae
No integrated TV card. Shame... Anyway, I'd better start saving for my next machine. The power cable is funny on this laptop, if it moves the machines screen goes black and it hisses. Probably not a great sign... yeah I know, get a new cable but as it's the adapter bit, costs money so... just as long as its not moved it's fine. What's that? You don't care? Don't make me destroy you.
GorunNova
I don't know... an uber-laptop like that is perfectly practical if you simply want the laptop form and don't care about batteries that much. The laptop computer format IS rather convenient, even if only used near plugins. With my laptop, the battery is more of a glorified UPS.
MrDad
Portable, yes. Laptop, I doubt it.
wahaha
The only ones who are going to buy or can afford it are drug dealing MPORG addicts and business owners. Even I wouldn't need that, even though I could write it off as a business expense.
