I think one of my all time fav Voyager episodes has to be "Friendship One" . Which didn't air until the 7th season. I just really like the story. It shows us a little bit more about Earth, and our search for "strange new life and new civilizations" . and how, with good intent, ended up destroying an alien civilization, and taking lives instead (oops!).. for the record, I'm a DS9 guy, but I like all Trek! anyway, heres the wiki for the episode.

The Haunting of Deck 12 s06e25

Neelix spooks the Borg children with the tale of a nebula monster.

The Thaw s02e23

I also agree with Blink of an Eye and Timeless.

I think the favorite DS9 episodes thread will be much longer for all of us, so many episodes for that series.

it was the first (and only) trek series that used story arcs that would take place over entire seasons. a 'novel for tv', if you will.

edit: Enterprise S3 was one big story arc, but that was the only time in the series that technique was used.

Not to start another tedious name calling between B5 and DS9 fans but it's fair to say JMS pretty much wrote the first sci-fi telenovel, DS9 did it... but not nearly as well.

Still, better than the usual standalone fair we got.

There's no debating that, my friend.

This is what sets DS9 apart from the other Trek series, though.
