  1. Picked up Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home for $3.33 Likewise picked up The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (BBC Version) and Kull the Conquorer for $3.33 each.
  2. Has anyone else noticed that we no longer call this Independence Day? In fact when I did call it that I was told it was the 4th of July NOT Independence Day. Wonder why this is? Possibly because we don't actually have Independence and are in actuality slaves to the elite (i.e. Government, Big Business, Special Interests Groups, the UN and Hollywood.) Just a thought.
  3. Doctor Judson (Curse of Fenric) So we're back to N.
  4. I thought he simply asked what the name of Raxicoricofalipatorious' twin was. I'll rewatch just to see.
  5. Hey c4, I just saw this for $20 over the weekend. Priced low due to box damage.
  6. I received Doctor Who: The beginning Box Set for Father's Day and I picked up Season 4 of Buffy and a Pokemon DVD for my Daughter.

  9. You sure about that RS? Now I have to rewatch it.
  10. Can't wait for it to hit the US (even though my wife hates the Troughton Doctor).
  11. I just picked up Stargate SG-1 Season 1 as a present for my brother-in-law. Hope he doesn't buy it for himself between now and Christmas.
  12. How about independent films? Hollywood Sci-Fi is sometimes too glossy and slick and afraid to take risks. Here's one I'll recommend; it's had positive reviews posted all over the net if you want to google it: Project: Valkyrie. It's due out on DVD on June 13th (I think).
  13. It was OK if you don't over analyze it. Felt like a remake of X2 with the fluid extract of a mutant being a main plot point and a war between humans and mutants. If you know the history of the project you can better appreciate it. If you think it felt rushed, it was. The release date was chosen before a script was even commisioned and the whole thing had to be written, re-written, shot, edited and finished in time to make that release date in order to beat Singer's Superman to theaters. With all the mistakes FOX made along the way (starting with not signing Singer) it's a miracle the movie is as good as it is. Kudos go to the team that rewrote the script because it's a vast improvement over the original (thank God they jettisoned the Wolverine/Storm sex bunny subplot).
  14. Bin Liner (Paradise Towers) That's an R to you.
  15. Ratkin! (Ghost Light) The ever popular N.
  16. Ok, did some research..... Polly's surname is never given on screen. BBC records seem to indicate that her surname is also Wright. Will continue to research in order to verify information. Wikipedia (I know it's not the best source) seems to agree with what I've found elsewhere:
  17. And wasn't Polly's last name Wright? or is this a different Polly then the one I be thinkin' of?
  18. If you are in the US try Borders or Best Buy.
  19. Sisters of Plentitude (the name of the nursey-cat-nuns).
  20. I just noticed that with all the S's we still haven't had... Second Doctor That be R to you, mateys!
  21. I am speedy Potato!!! Eat my dust, Lithy.
  22. The sloppy writing and continuity would be more on the 80's folk, especially Saward as he wrote the "...like the Daleks..." line to build the Cybermen up as a bigger threat because he prefered them to the Daleks. In fact he told Dicks not to even have Daleks in the Five Doctors. Dicks, rightly, pointed out that an anniversary celebration had to have Daleks in it and eventually he was allowed one Dalek.
  23. It's acceptable to me. Now R.... Have we had Ravalox?
  24. Time and the Rani 6->7 Not sure if you want 7->8 (TVM) The Watcher was in Logopolis not Caves of Androzani.
