They have not released E-space on DVD in the US.

The reason they use an alternate Earth is so that they can do a slightly different take on the origins of the Cybermen. Instead of replacement surgery to survive it's more of a subtle cancerous conversion. They really only had 3 choices: ignore established Cyber history, alternate Mondas or alternate Earth. Alternate Earth makes the story more relatable; even on an alternate Earth humans are humans, but who knows what pre cyber Mondans are like.

My apologies on getting the title wrong. I usually don't make mistakes like that. Then again as I don't own a copy of this book and only read it because a friend leant it to me maybe I have an excuse. Then again, maybe not.

I guess I'd have to hope that Andy Bodle remembered reading my submission all those years ago and sending me the nice (dated) rejection letter that I filed along with a copy of the submission including the occompanying letter (again dated) that I sent to Virgin in the first place. Too much to ask for; good thing I'm not sueing.

It is something a fan did. He replaced the theme music with what he calls the right music. He also altered where the 2nd cliffhangar occurs in the story. Nothing really major. It's the same story just muddied up a bit by someone who can't abide leaving things as they are.

The Shatner character does not die in the first 3 books at all. I know, I read them. Somebody had to.

Read the novel "Aftermath". It takes place after the final episode of the series and is what they were alledgedly going to do if they were asked for another season. It's not bad but it does take away some of the impact of the Finale.

I believe it to be the same. I think that it might just be a new capture. I don't know for sure though.

I'm glad that they did such a good job with this story, since I wrote it first and expected great things. They did a lot that I didn't think of, but a lot of what I was trying to do 13 years or so ago was smack bang in the story. Loved it and am therefore inclined not to sue them ;) not that I'd ever considere it really. Why ruin the return of Doctor Who over a story I couldn't sell in the early 90's.

I'll take my tongue out of my cheek to note that I read something today that claimed that if ratings go down he'll be criticized for being Welsh (not gay). Over here, no one cares if he's gay or Welsh or a Slitheen. Then again we'll watch anything over here.

My question is, if there is no script yet then how can anyone say for certain what this will be about? I'm a writer and I know that no matter what intention you might have when you sit down to write what comes out may not have any resemblance whatsoever to that original vision. Besides the article I read states that Shatner and Nimoy havn't been contacted yet. Now why would it say that if they were doing a Starfleet Academy story? Sounds like a lot of speculation in the press leading to rioting in fandom. My advice, sit back and wait to see what happens.
