  1. LOL, Indeed 101 years is quite the golden age wouldn't you say..? And thanks (lol) and of course in the same fashion as the others, I wish you a Happy New Year and a Happy Birthday (for those who actually HAVE the birthday today)!!
  2. You rule dude!! Merry *hick* Christmas...ho...ho...ho
  3. John, do you think you could make a SUPER-Torrent with some of their stuff?? Like a best-of?? I'm all in for that! And hey, Merry Christmas!
  4. Yes I miss the big guy as well - any news? Lee why don't you give him a call!
  5. RIP Indeed - I loved the guy! His talents will be missed...
  6. Happy birthday man, greetings & love from Holland (Sweden) :)
  7. Wahaha - got to love that new avatar! Sorry about to go to work can't have no debate at the moment - bbl but I do concur with your statement above.. a lot of things become 'gray' and you get a little confused in general
  8. Which really means; science and religion eventually go hand in hand - in a sense! That which used to be 'belief' becomes fact
  9. I think the biggest problem with any 'god' issues and such is the misconception that any 'god' -like being would be like 'us' with the same screwed up ordeals, ideas, interests etc. hence why something semigodish/semi-religious becomes so 'unthinkable' and I agree - but if you change the god-as-the-guy-with-the-beard into perhaps something more like a universal force in the bigger picture (and not all that yadda yadda with earth or a specific country being the center of the universe) then I think it's more applicable - hence why I'd like to vote on something in between evolution / intelligent design
  10. Happy birthday, TFMF!!! :D cheers - now you're finally eligable to go beyond "second base" with the myserious species called *Women* now that's what I call to go where you've not gone before!!! Congratulations, mate!
  11. Remember tho, the dominion practically owned and governed an entire quadrant by itself - unlike the borg or any other race that merely occupies a small piece of a quadrant.
  12. I think what most people *refer to* is that dude with the beard. If I'd say I believe - and leave it at that, it has NOTHING to do with any dude with a beard - forget that.
  13. Name: Andreas Ekberg Age: 23 (sometimes feeling like the reverse!) Country: Sweden City: Luleå (waaay up north) Occupation: Student and worker and soon-to-be some artistry Anything else, read the info section by clicking my nick [Edit]: these pics are from the studio - during the time we were working on our Demo around August or so - afterwards I cut my hair so it's much shorter atm. :)
  14. Look for "Star Wreck" at mininova - if you're lucky, it has around 500+ seeders (took me 15 minutes to get) that's a nice parody/mix of Trek+B5 :D
  15. hm as I recall I've already participated in 2 of these, hm well as soon as I get my hands on some of the pics from the studio, I'll post it here along with some info ;;)
  16. Nice renewal, c4evap! Quite the compromise to make an animation of all of them :) 10/10
  17. Well, originally (in order to make him suck less) he was made up as one of them super-engineered soldiers (basically DNA modifications into superhuman stats) but in that series where he 'clubs' the Hulk, he actually only manages to slow him down... as we all know "Hulk is the strongest here is!!!!!" but he changes target to an evil (nazi anyone?) superhuman soldier instead of bashing Cap. A to goo (which I was so hoping for) - those pussies at Marvel are afraid to kill off their beloved superstars... at least Thanos killed most of those annoying ba§tards in "The infinity Gauntlet saga" Though they got resurrected ..of course ;;) I buy my comics at My Comicshop recently I bought stuff for $300 nearly 100 magazines or so, got about 100 more to buy - btw. if anyone is interested in buying stuff from them (backend issues), wait for a while so I can pursuade Nite to add a link to their site so the forum/site can earn a little percentage of the purchases (which basically makes donating less important - everybody wins)
  18. just look at the official site - all is canon - I don't currently have that art/facts-book in my posession, but trust me; ST's don't have a chance, a cat in Hades would have a greater chance than them *'nuff said* Btw. a small group of TIE-Defenders would kick anyones butt - anyone playing TIE fighter (the old PC game) know what those little babies can do. As for the Rebels I believe the 2 types of Mon Calamari cruisers are around 600m and 900m and they're very powerful, IIRC, the larger Calamari Cruiser is quite evenly matched against a regular Star Destroyer (1600m), unless of course they'd deploy all their fighters ;) The rest of the rebelforces consist of carriers, and the regular A, B, X, Y -wings, some of those Cruisers seen in the opening of "A New Hope" (SW IV) + additional 'medical ships' like the one that Luke is at in the end of "Empire Strikes Back". As for the Empire and their baddest ships, you've got the Super Super-Star Destroyer (the 10 years after the movie sequel *Dark Empire*) at impressive 16-18Km or so (+ the superlaser it has, and the fact that it's built to RAM anything in its way..), the next biggest would be Executor, the Super Star Destroyer of Darth Vader at impressive 8Km (8000 meters for those who can't count in SI units) beside those, there are the World Devastators at about 1-1,5Km in size which actually consume matter (Mbodies such as planets etc.) and has fully automated factories within that builds the TIE-droid fighters hm what else... oh yeah, there was a ship that had an impregnable hull..hm was that the Sun Crusher? anyway a small ship that appears in one of the books where they reveal the prototype Death Star, and it could pretty much fly right through anything (like a Star Destroyer bridge...read the book!) hm.. and yeah finally, the Galaxy Gun that shoots small missiles that either causes a sun to go supernova or did it obliderate planets? My memmory is somewhat clouded ;) but all that info can be found throughout the official sites.
  19. It does have in fact several hyperdrives and ion drives to compensate for the large mass - so yes, it's rather mobile - I have a book (official) "Essential vehicles and vessels" that I bought a few years ago in the middle of some SW mania.
  20. Captain America..lol ;) you know he originally started off as one of them ways to promote war and soldiering (just like many other comics/comicbook 'heroes' at the time - hell even Superman had a run at 'kill the gooks' if you look at superdickery.com) But frankly I gotta say I really truly honestly hate Capt. America.
  21. Yes, Zahns books are awesome, and would be a nice movie followup - Thrawn was one of my favourite baddies in my earlier days - eved had Thrawn for a while as a nickname ;)
  22. I believe Ultimate (new) spiderman is a 'new' start with a slightly different reality and chain of events - as a way to start of fresh. To me it seems Earth 616 Universe has outlived itself - more or less -
