Nite, you should see the show first - obviously - while it's said that the movie will hold up on its own, it's impossible to bake in the depth of the characters that has come out of 14 episodes in one single movie so of course you should take a peek at the show first! :) However, be warned, it's highly addictive - I was devastated when the show was over (for now..)

Season 2 really brought the 4400 up as a great show. I think the 4400 really has some potentitial, and yes I rate it much higher than Treshold and other middle-class shows. C4, by the way, I heard it's Coppola's production company doing the 4400 and since he and Spielberg are buddies... :) Well I'm drooling in a corner until I get more 4400 (season 3 that is!) :D

I'm actively watching Treshold as much as I can - seen the 4 available Eps already, and I must say I enjoy it - though I wouldn't want to 'compare' it to Firefly or other high-class shows, but it's at least above 'OK' on my scale (I usually have so called high standards and I'm picky!) and so in terms of OK, I though Andromeda was excellent on occasion which kept me watching it, though the ending lowered my overall opinion to less then OK, and I think Treshold is at least watchable as I said, and hey the characters are kind of cool (while the story isn't THAT exciting thus far)

This all sounds to me like the government is commercially moving into the 'threat of communism' they once fought so fiercly... it's like they're trying to enslave people gradually just in the ways they claim to ban and dislike...but from a capitalistic angle....exploiting like that..that's Godawful - and even forcing someone to 'pay' to be relieved of commercials is even worse... if I got this straight - which I hope; I'm currently caught in the popular flu and my sleeping is highly disordered so don't blame me too much if I misunderstood something :) Actually in response I'd also like to point out how much everyone would benefit in several ways, if the governments (esp America) put all the resources of war and extreme commercialsm / capitalism into the scientific fields about the human body instead; if we could effectively exterminate a lot of deceases and typichal 'health' threats and health problems (such as a fucked up back from overworking etc.) production would flourish a lot more and less money would eventually have to go to the decrease in 'production' - now that's a humanistic economic suggestion. [by the way, I've always stood for proper communism which has nothing to do with being democratic or not; it's a rather anti-thesis of capitalism, where resources are to be shared, not owned by a single one person or entitity - so it has nothing to do with anything but economics - incase someone didn't knew. Logically anyone should be able to see that that war btw was only to 'save' their own interests, nothing else]

That episode should be uploaded :) I'd LOVE to see that one. hm I kinda skipped the episode where 'Homer' was guest starring, I'd love to see it just for the hell of it though (thoroughly). Kudos to Stargate SG-1 for having such an incredible array of gueststars and referals to cool stuff :)

Heh, Steven, I'm problably the last one to ever get offended by anything. Being a man, I do enjoy beautiful women, however I'm in a bit of debate with myself whether or not such things is truly 'nice' or 'good' - I never said I cheered or comdemned posts of that kind So I'm just saying... :D no reason to get all heated haha - perhaps I should have expressed this more clearly - although it did buy me a second post (*devious* ^v^) Lee: she's quite a little girl in the episode she's featured - I think it's season 2 or 3, she portraits a child on a planet were the kids are geniouses - then they sort of removed that knowledge and implanted it in the adults or something, I don't remember clearly, but it was a bit of that "we have to save this society, such actions are not ok yaddayadda" kind of episode, quite touching.

Alias is somewhat cool - the only thing I loath is the typichal "we're out saving the world, and nobody knows anything, and we're so cool and the best, everyone else sucks - attitute" Otherwise a cool show and YES, Tarantino was a major badguy, and a real good one at that!! :D

Correct! I liked the General you have as Avatar, but it's kind of hard to see and as suggested, slightly epileptic, so 5/10 Otherwise, Grievous is cool! :D

Hey the 4400 gets really good when you've seen the 2 seasons, and it's really worth watching - consider this; most TREK have sucked until the end of the 2nd season, so if 4400 takes a few eps to get good, I think that's really strong. I'm going to check out this show to see what it is ASAP!
