One right after DS9 would be great. There could be one where there would be war with Romulans.
-
A movie with characters from TNG, DS9 and VOY would be great. I'd like to see that very much.
-
They left many unfinished plots in DS9. I think they could be used if they were to make movies or new series in times right after DS9. Some of these plots are: - Sisko - The Sword of Kah'less - Gamma Quadrant, the wormhole - Prophets and Pah-Wraith - Cardassians, Bajorans - The Founders - Dominion remains - Terok Nor - Nog - weakend Klingon Empire - Breen - Section 31 - more...?

I, myself, really liked "In A Mirror, Darkly". It was fun to watch. I liked he Xindi plot and the Vulcan arc. That's my favorite for ENT. As for TNG - well, all of it :) especially "Where No One Has Gone Before" and "The Best of Both Worlds", in VOY "Blink of an Eye", DS9 "Statistical Probabilities", TOS "Mirror, Mirror", TAS " Yesteryear", movies "First Contact". But I liked them all anyway :)

funny but sad

I understand a lot, but I don't think even the creators understand all, a lot of stuff is made up.

I ment race-driving-like driving :) You know, floor it whenever you can. It's impressive that this engine still works well after what it's been through. I used to drive like crazy so the car took some heavy duty on it :) Although it's not some super car, I like it, it's reliable, and acceleration is ok for me. I drive usually in the city, here acceleration doeas not mean much, nor does the top speed. I don't like racing in a straight line. Racing through the city during rush hour, that's a challenge. Driver is the most important there. Maneuvering through tight places, driving mirror-to-mirror, using your handbrake, otherwise you'd end up on a tree :) beating records on how fast can I drive through one point to another on the other side of the city, slalom through other cars, passing "on 3rd" (that's when you pass a car when another is coming from opposide direction, you force these cars to move a litte to the side of the road, and you use a tight space between them to drive)... And I must say, roads in Europe are narrow, everyone drives tighter and that's a normal thing. There isn't that much space on the street as in USA, everything is very tight. Ahhh... yeah... when I was young and stupid :) Now I don't drive like this... usually B) So maybe I don't do 0-60 in 5 secs, but believe me, that baybe can do a lot. And I bought it for about $9000 (new one), so don't expect much. It's top speed was 200 km/h, that's about 130 mph I guess. But I don't drive that much in the city :) Just don't think I'm crazy, I was, I'm not anymore and I'm glad I'm alive...

And I have Daewoo Lanos 1.6 DOHC. Bought in November 1999 and 150 000 km made (alnost 100 000 miles). 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) in about 10 seconds. Tough guy, had some accidents, racing drivers, and often used to drive through rough terrain and it still drives very good. I installed in it a gas power source, so it can drive both on gasoline and on LPG gas (propane-butane) which is cheaper here in Poland than gasoline. BTW, here our gasoline is 95 to 99-octane, how it is in USA?

Harry Harrison "To the Stars" "Transatlantic Tunnel. Hurrah!" Really good one!

I heard that the Moon is moving away from Earth, so I've decided to look for some source of that and found that it actually is. And I found something more. The moon is gettin away from us 3.8cm every year. Imagine how it must have looked when dinosaurs were here :) The reason is simple - tides. And Earth's rotation is slowing down 2 miliseconds per 100 years. For more information look here http://curious.astro.cornell.edu/question.php?number=124 And the Earth itself is moving away from the Sun 1.5cm per year, see: http://curious.astro.cornell.edu/question.php?number=317 But don't worry, the Sun will catch us and burn/swallow us :p see: http://curious.astro.cornell.edu/question.php?number=463 Do you know how fast are you going when your're lying in bed? Well, only about 900 km/s :) see: http://curious.astro.cornell.edu/question.php?number=507

The first episode of TNG was on stardate 41153.7 (TNG 1x01 - Encounter at Fapoint) The last was on stardate 47988.1 (TNG 7x25-26 - All Good Things...) Mentioned episode TNG 5x19 - "The First Duty" was on stardate 45703.9. Voyager starts at stardate 48315.6 (VOY 1x01-02 - Caretaker) and ends on 54973.4 (7x25-26 - Endgame). So Voyager started right after TNG was over. For what we see on the show, one year is about (or exactly) 1000 units in stardate. So it is easy to count the differential. Also note that TNG crew is still active while Voyager got already back home. By the way, if 1 year is 1000 units in stardate (you can see that by looking at stardates in TNG, DS9 and VOY - 1 year of the show is one year of time that passes in the story, and that is 1000 units of stardate [how call it?]) then that's wrong somehow, because TNG started on about 41000 and TOS finished on 6000 and between them should be 70-year gap. We have 70 years and 35000 units of stardate between them, so it shoulb be 2 years per 1000 units of stardate, and now it is different. Can anyone explain it?

As for the idea of Enterprise NX-01 movie, about the war with Romulans or about the birth of the Federation, it would only make sense in one case - the Enterprise must go on for at leat 7 seasons. Now it is year 2154, the war with Romulans starts in 2156 ends 2160. The UFP was found in 2161. Between 2154 and 2156 there probably was a lot going on, tensions rose between Humans and Romulans, it needs to be shown. War started somehow, for some reason and lasted for some time. And everything before 2161 - how the Federation and new Starfleet were born (Starfleet became the protector of all Federation citizents), how Andorians, Vulcans, Tellarites and Humans were united (these four species found UFP according to Daniels in ENT 3x24 "Zero Hour") - I know it started in 2154 in last played three episodes of ENT - "Babel", "United" and "The Aenar". But there they just got Andorians and Tellarites started talking to each other, Humans seem to talk to everyone, but uniting Vulcans with Andorians would be tough. Besides, talking is one thing, forming a Federation, uniting, is another. There's still a very long way to that. And the great Romulan war is on the way. There's much to tell, it is sad the ENT is supposed to end. It could last many episodes and even some movies.

Unfortunately, people who decide about these things are not Trekkers... money's the priority, then the rest. Well, at leat they could ask us, Star Trek fans, for some ideas for movies, series or episodes. Because I think B&B are little worn out, maybe they need is some fresh thought, someone new. And no more "re-making" episodes from other series... New ideas, that's what we need IMO.

How about this: Klingon Empire has weakend after the war with Dominion. It's hard for the High Counsil to maintain order. An opposite fraction begins to gain power. Civil war threatens the Empire. The emperor is assasinated, civil war begins. Counselor Martok(Worf's friend, former General who was given this title by Worf - DS9 7x22 "Tackling into the Wind') must unite the Empire, the only way to do it is to find the Sword of Kah'less. But he can't trust anyone within the Empire, so he asks Worf and the Federation for help. Only Worf and (Ezri) Dax can help him (if you don't know why, see DS9 4x09 "The Sword of Kahless"). Federation agrees, for the good of the Alpha Quadrant and for its ally, to help, so they send Worf and Ezri, but not alone, Worf, as an ambassador, requests some ships to protect them, because renegate Klingons know about their plan and want to stop them, and they have many ships. So they assign Enterprise and Titan (Picard's request). Admiral Janeway takes command of this mission, which is very important for the Alpha Quadrant. And as an admiral, she gets to choose her ship, and she chooses Voyager. Picard and Riker have been chosen beacuse they have experience dealing with Klingons. She, for sentimental reasons, takes command of the Voyager. They all go (with Counselor Martok and his flagship) to DS9 first to pick up Ezri, there the Defiant joins them with Kira in command. These five ships go to start looking for the sword (bat'leth) at the very place Worf, Jadzia Dax and Kor abandoned it (DS9 4x09). But the search gets complicated, they can't find it. They discover that renegate Klingons get help from the Breen. Everything gets messy but eventually they find the sword, and Martok returns with it and brings peace to the Empire as a new Emperor and one and only leader. On the way we could destroy Martok's ship, Titan, or even Voyager or Defiant, just pick :) That is the way of bringing TNG, DS9 and Voyager together, and continue the story line. What do you think abou that? Maybe it's too much? We could exclude Voyage plot, and even Titan. Or use DS9 space staion only for temporary stop and not bring the Defiant. Well, these are details, what do you think generally of the story?

No! Why!? I'm oddicted to Star Trek... :(

of course we're not alone, it would be wasting so much space B)

I think they did pretty goog job with putting the NX into the ST world. They didn't change history, much...

I'd like to play a role of someone on the ship, feel what it is like
