Herold
"V : The Second Generation" has been announced (apparently some time ago) and (at that time) a favorite bad gal, Jane Badler is back. Just thought I would share the news. IMDB link

Potato
The original miniseries rocked, as did the second miniseries. However, when it became a full fledged series...what a stinker! Hope the have some new ideas.
Guest c4evap
Well, this should be interesting. Saw the original series and thought it was pretty good. Loved to watch them eat those mice :p c4 B)

ratboy
The original miniseries rocked' date=' as did the second miniseries. However, when it became a full fledged series...what a stinker! Hope the have some new ideas.[/quote'] Agreed. I LOVED both miniseries. But the TV version wasn't very well done. They killed off or wrote out most of the main characters and re-used various special effects shots over and over. I would like to see an updated version if it was done well. Bapman
Funny... I never saw the TV series... I saw the mini series where it end properly with the HYBRID girl. n I gotta admit... it was 1 rocking harda$$ series. Independence Day took the giant city size ship ideas from here n THIS is the series tht gave us the famous lizard aliens. Man these were 1 race tht used to freak me out... still does. Amnot Borg
Cool, so cool... I became addicted to white chocolate watching those white mouse eating scenes back then... The series did get so damn silly though compared to the mini-series...
Carnifex
Nah... it's dead on it's arse.. Ken Johnston wants to do a sequel to the original with the original cast and NBC and ABC want a remake done first before they'll even consider a sequel (which would be with the new cast), they won't budge and haven't done so for the last year! Cypha01
Ack, I tend to hate remakes most of the time. I'm on episode 2 of the mini-series so far and really enjoying it though.
Mav
V! Now there was a pure cheeseball series ;) Loved it myself. Hopefully the new series will get some modern day enchancements on special effects.
