  1. Being able to read the kids mind helps, not to mention the power of suggestion... If I had his ability, I'd use it for my own personal gain. >:D
  2. Hard to disagree with that statement and it's nice to see that they are aware of the "problem". :)
  3. Happy 18th Birthday T F M F Now that you're a man, I'll have a drink instead of the £10 you "owe" me. ;)
  4. Winona Ryder is less worse for the part... :p I don't care if she's a infamous klepto and think she might do a good job as Spock's mom. (Unless she steals his brain and gives it to Sylar. Imagine the consequences this would create.)
  5. It might come as a shock, but my fav char is NOT Hiro. :o Matt Parkman is. :)
  6. How about the Enter key? Scifi humour at it's lowest... ;)
  7. It has been "leaked"... you know the internets... ;) Just Frakking awesome. :)
  8. i can understand why some never uses caps but all caps is simply annoying worseyetisapersonsthatssolazytheytheynevereverusethespacebarcommaandpuntctuation ;)
  9. One of the better episodes so far. :) I'm guessing that Ancient Battleship will return and be destroyed as usual...
  10. Congrats Mav. There's a Japanese Princess waiting for you. Go get her! ;)
  11. "Pretty Good" episode indeed. I like when they keep adding twists into it and not knowing on what "side" some of the chars are (yet). :) Although they could skip some of the romantic drama involving the entire cast (almost), one or two is more than enough. :(
  12. Thanks everyone. :) I'm really getting to old for B-day Parties, so I had one anyways. :Hilander72:
  13. Storing on HD's always risky, like TS pointed out, but I really depends on how "valuable" the data is. Personally I prefer to store on DVD's (cheap and fairly quick), but I'm sure that some of them will fail in time (already have for a few commercial DVD's I bought years ago and I don't think my copies will fare any better). Then there's always the Internet... Just upload the data in a torrent and it'll be stored forever somewhere. ;)
  14. A Wild guess... A Living Universal Translator. ;) I think Heroes is better than the 1st Chaper so far. It might be cause I'm more familiar with the cast and know about their abilities. Not to mention that there's still plenty of new stuff that makes it more exiting. :) EDIT: Another Good Episode.
  15. The most important thing is that you really enjoy the work you do. :)
  16. There's been plenty of "stalkers" around here these last couple of days (me included)... ;) I haven't logged in for a couple of days cause I couldn't remember my pw and was away from home. :-[ But that didn't stop me from reading all the new posts (and playing TW) I'm still a "solid day" ahead of Megalith on 3rd spot. >:D
  17. I don't watch many non-sci-fi shows, but the few I follow are: Weeds (drama/comedy) IT Crowd (sit com) Rome (drama)
  18. I've seen it and yes, I like the darker and more "evil" remake and reminds me a lot of BSG (not just cause of the actors). :) Still need to see a few more episodes to decide, but judging by the pilot it leans towards a good show and worth watching. ps. Did any notice the "BSG Font" on the Ambulance in the end.
  19. One word: It's utter crap! :( My IQ has apparently been affected... ;)
  20. The new front page looks good and all we need is to add new content everyday. :)
  21. No sound/visual effects... I'm not that desperate, so I'll wait for the "official" release too. ;D (If it had been bsg I might have watched it)
  22. Happy Birthday! TetsuoShima I'll sit back and wait for the crazy threads... ;) ps. Happy Birthday! Amnot Borg... Almost forgot it was you...
  23. Good work on the Tribe wiki page Mav. :) I don't think it's a good idea either to have list of a members in the wiki page, since that would require constant updating. Besides if they are interested they can always check the ranks page and find the NiteShire Tribe members from there (a link in the wiki page perhaps?).

    Mac

I used to be a Mac owner in the early '90s, when Macs were 2-3x more powerful than a top of the line PC. There weren't many games back then either, but one that really made my PC friends jealous was Marathon which featured awesome high resolution 3D graphics and the closest thing on PCs was Doom (not even real 3D and low res). The best part was that you could play Marathon on a network with up to 8 human players. :) Most of the time I used the Mac for graphics mostly thanks to Photoshop (version 2.0-4.0), which was still in it's infancy for PCs.
