when it comes down to money it probably depends who has more. these endangered gizmo's are gonna cost someone dearly so compromises will be found. and even if they are banned people will find ways round things. some major manufacturers got together to try and prevent piracy but there are more clever people in the world than they can employ and their security will be compromised eventually. question is, does the little guy geyt caught in the crossfire?

leave it to me to be argumentative, but... i kinda like the idea. either rick berman is floggin a dead horse which is a piss take, or he is thinkin long term. i think it would be cool to see a movie fillin in bits of the timeline. whenever else are ya gonna see it. i think fillin gaps is something we all wanna see. also to quote myself, my enjoyment of the two most recent movies has been diluted by pat stewarts overfamiliarity with his role. he treats it more like a fun day out than a starfleet mission. good stories though. plus movies will attract audiences and keep trek current (ish) in the minds of non trekkers. will this lead to a longer term place for star trek with non trekkers? there is also tons of scope for fill in stories as long as there isnt a movie every year with a new crew. that would be crap. also, now riker has a new ship the next TNG movie will HAVE to have at least two BEASTSHIPS and possibly more. :mad: BATTLE :mad: so on the whole more trek is GOOOD. maybe not ideal but goood

cows in the uk are given some kinda drug to change the chemical composition of their farts. think of the potential :D with a bag full of corks and a lot of good salesmanship you could, over time, and with the right drugs,create jet propelled cows! B)
