i have 5 quiet pints on a sunday, every sunday.

at what point do i start calling it a religion??

here is my point.

i believe in a greater being the (land)lord our god in hebburn, south tyneside, round the corner from my little brother (who incidentally is locally feared, anyhooo) and think that if there were more boozers that the world would be a friendlier place. and why stop there!

more chairs!!!!!

chairs for everyone!!

if more people could sit in a comfortable chairs imagin how much more peaceful the world would be. take Iraq for instance. ship over 4 or 5 thousand lazy boys and (thats LAZY!) and watch everyone just relax. no more "he shot my aunite", more like, "hey who gives a crap i cant be bothered, are you goin to the bar, mines a pint"

with the correct furniture and the correct application of faith, the sunday quiet 5 could turn in to something pretty special and maybe stop a war or two along the way.

more religion thats what i say!!!!!!

vive la difference (thats french for lager folks)

:D

I agree.

Although I don`t drink much, if anything anymore, I do agree that Sunday should be a day of quiet contemplation.

It should be spent in the way each individual feels best, but not trawlling round IKEA shopping! ;)

My Sundays start after lunch and are spent watching SG1 followed by Enterprise, then Scrap Heap Challange and finally Time Team. What more could I ask for.

BTW could you send me one of these LazyBoys, I`ve always wanted a chair with built in compartments, and fridge if possible.(for water obviously)! :D

You may start right now if you like. Maybe at first there wont be many followers, but the next time you go in the pub try to explain to everybody this religion of yours! Pretty soon a hole bunch of people will follow and kneel before you! ;)

Must admit i like those chairs you'r talking about!! Can i have one shipped to me?

thanks for your serious responses. i wasnt expecting any.

the thing with religion is that i dont care what an individual does to practice their faith, it doesnt make me feel threatened reading about it or discussing it.

it is different however if someone is trying to harm me or make me see their point of view then i feel it necessary to defend myself or my beliefs.

i dont thnk it is necessary to get upset and abusive because someone thinks different to me.

that is simply idiotic
