I think it would be pretty amusing if they show that at the end of the series the entire crew goes on breaking up and that michael goes on to actually head section 31..

Well it would be a real bummer of a way to end, but it would be so different from anything else..

Anyone come up with ideas of what could happen to the rest of the crew ?

Yet another stupid species that Kirk never heard of shows up & blows the Enterprise to little pieces, then ravages Earth itself.

Remember.......Bermann & Braga are doing the Finale, not Manny Coto, so it'll have nothing to do with Kirk, I'm sure of it........

I think they should end the series on the same note that they ended TNG with "All good things". It just gave you the feeling that "Yes, this chapter is over, but the story is not" Especially when picard sits down for the poker game. Again though, I just hope they don't go all crazy with the section 31 stuff...

I was very skeptikal about this episode--rehashing the Klingon forehead was a bad idea in my opinion, but it turned out awesome! They continue again and again to amaze me with season four. Section 31 was great adn I wish they had incorporated this earlier as I have grown to love Reed as a character. His acting was great. If they keep this up the season/series :( finale should be the bewst rrek episode ever. Manny Coto is a genius.

AGreed, but I think the next star trek series (hopefully soon) will be about section 31--that'd be sweet imo...

I liked the Episode in general. My only observation was how lame it was to have nearly the entire bridge crew be female on the Columbia. I mean really... I'm no sexist etc. but even my Wife was like "That's such B.S." Sometimes I wish Star Trek didn't try so hard to make a social point.

Was it?

It's a proven medical fact that women have better hand-eye co-ordination & dexterity in their fingers.

The bridge crew pushes buttons........Who would you rather have?

Now for the armory, cargo bay & shuttle bay, obviously there's heavy lifting involved, so men would be better suited, since they have better upper body strength.

......Let's think a little bit, folks.

I was honestly most intrigued with two parts of the story:

Reed's answering to Section 31

I think it was cool the way they brought up Section 31 without the viewers really knowing what the deal was, then once he started talking to that guy over the comm, it was clear he knew him from before.

I'm guessing in the 2nd part they'll actually name it as Section 31. And of course nobody could ever imagine MALCOLM withholding something from Archer so it's got a good dramatic effect on that note...We can sense his frustration with having to keep things from his captain and his friend.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Trip and T'Pol's separation/ Hoshi's involvement

The other part I liked was the meditation dream that T'Pol had, it appeared to be only T'Pol's and then Trip suddenly snapped out of it in engineering on Columbia, then they showed you that they shared the dream by snapping back to T'Pol open her eyes in her meditation. Then as a result of the mind meld with Hoshi I think there were residual connections between the two, so Hoshi felt it while she was sleeping and it caused the dream.

What I thought would actually happen was Hoshi was going to approach T'Pol and tell her that during the meld she sensed her feelings for Trip and tell her that she knows she's in love with him, sort of a "girl-to-girl" talk...Something I wouldn't be surprised to see next Friday.

I believe they're going to get married or something substantial in the last episode so building up to it is going to be gradual probably...Personally I find it irritating and agonizing the way T'Pol's been pushing him away because I know they're both in love with each other they just can't say it....Trip's afraid of getting hurt again and T'Pol's afraid of feeling emotion..But I'm a hopeless romantic sap.

I guess the episode was ok but I don't care much for the Klingon Augment idea, for me the dominating point is the character conflicts between T'Pol and Trip.

I'm guessing when Columbia comes to aid Enterprise when they're sabotaged (don't worry that's not a spoiler, it's in the preview that's been released) something's going to happen with Trip and T'Pol...Idk, something to intensify their relations like one of them almost dying, giving the other one the courage to say how they feel....

Cuz remember in "Observer Effect" when Trip was deathly ill, when T'Pol told Archer to tell her right away if Trip became conscious...It's speculation but I bet she would have gone down there to tell him she loved him before he died...But then of course the aliens inhabited them and cured them so we never got to find out.

Very good episode.

I've missed most of the season so I've been catching up with resent downloads. I was left hagning at the end of this epsiode after watching the entire season non stop. But I'm looking forward to watching the airing of Divergence tomorrow night.

The incorperation of the Kligon story for TOS and Section 31 in the same episode was great writing. You can really tell the writes are pulling out all the stops this season. It'll be a shame if we don't get another season out of this great cast and the writers after what they have been able to do this season.

A couple of things i wanted to voice about the ending of ENTERPRISE. Firstly if they had have scrapped the whole bloody Xindi year and gotten into this stuff... the start of the federation and the beginning of the bonds between the vulcans, humans, tellerites, and andorians we prolly wouldn't be looking at a cancelled star trek series. I think most of us when ENTERPRISE first started were kind of skeptical if they could pull off a pre-kirk era and get things right (LIKE KLINGONS DONT HAVE TEAR DUCTS or THAT THEY HAVE VIOLET COLORED BLOOD) which they have screwed up more then once. All in all they did a pretty good job BUT What intrigued me the most was the idea of seeing the original member races settiing the ground work for the United Federation of Planets. NOW in it fourth year we finally get an inkling of this happening. AND HERE COMES THE NETWORK BOYS OH!!???? SHOW CANCELLED What a joke!! Have they learned nothing from the past in cancelling a startrek show? This would have been the season to turn it all around!! I think the only greater sci fi dissapointment then this would have been if They cancelled Babylon 5 right before the end o f the shadow wars or ended Next generation as Locutus was saying "you will escort us to sector zero zero one!"

I agree that UPN is making a big mistake but we all knew from the start that Enterprise would be a tough series. There was only so much the writers could do before they would run into the construction of the Constitution class. Saving the creatation of the Federation had to wait until the end of the series. I do enjoy every episode where the writers bring in the old stuff. Favorite episode, when Malcom is trying to figure out what the tactical alert should do, classic writing.

But remember, All Good Things...
