  1. Infact ... I'm eating it now. Vegemite is an Aussies staple source of nutrients and vitamins.... I love the stuff... and us Ozzy's love to sing: "...We're happy little vegemites as brite as bright can be, we all enjoy our vegemite for breakfast lunch and tea...... .................................................. ..... It puts the rose in every cheek." BTW: Australias favourite Vegemite is owned by Kraft (America) More links about vegemite here, including some recipes for rosey cheek lovers
  2. They are truley "fantastic!" userbars. ...I'm always a fan of a 'quick reverse' to fix the ends of animations: Like so: or perhaps a dissolve/fade back into the first frame (so it looks like it disappears back into time&space) But don't get me wrong.. I think they're flawless as they are... Keep up the cool gifs :)
  3. ooo.. thats pretty disgusting then.... But i've heard Patrick Stewart being to refered to in a similar manner... (generally admirers of his sexualness though wishing to be with him) Actually, I do remember a few post's saying Janeway is sexy... (never quite figured that one myself, the episode('s) when people are attracted to her always made me squirmish :) I tell ya what though C4: That avatar of yours does make me wish that 'Superman Returns' was infact "Superwoman Comes..." I could sit through a movie or two with her in it (nod nod, wink wink) ;) (no sexist degredation intended) You never said you had one of those outfits :)
  4. yep, dead right (i think everyone uses 'havoc' now) But things in Oblivion don't seem to 'feel' right, It's like they don't have the right weight or something. It seems harder to carry and stack/build things in Oblivion, and for some reason bodies and objects just don't act in the same way as HL2. In HL2 i spent days making jumps for my hovercraft to fly over, and little buildings out of boxes. But in Oblivion i have trouble trying to make a stack books sit right.... Oh well, maybe if i had a zero-point/gravity-cannon it would be easier :)
  5. hehe, I think the 'Case for more Beer' is my life philosophy :)
  6. Wow, finally someone who is more obsessed with Kes than I am :) hey C4: Ya know I've never heard anyone say they didn't like Janeway because she was a woman... ...only that she was an idiot etc.. :) In fact i can't remember anyone ever saying they 'liked' her because she was a woman........ ;) But my last word would be: If ya think voyager (or other) was the worst StarTrek, Then you have obviously never seen "Star Trek: Hidden Frontier "
  7. ya know... They might not kill off Rose (who could pop in from time to time on DR? & Torchwood) But they could always kill off Micky or the Mother... ..That would make Rose stay home for a while. My wish is that Romana survived the 'great timelord war', and makes a return... hmmmm two timelords:)
  8. Those tech. nutters at IBM have broken the speed barrier again, but this time it is really cool. 500 gigs of processing speed, Thats a lot faster than my 3gig. The Herald said: "The researchers, using a cryogenic test station, achieved the speed milestone by "freezing" the chip to 451 degrees below zero Fahrenheit, or minus 268 degrees Celsius, using liquid helium......" But it's probably not available for up to two years, I think i can wait that long for another new computer..... The full article is hereat the Herald Tribune It's quite amazing advancement, being that some chip producers thought we'd already reached the tech/speed limit for silicon..... edit: code isn't working for some reason so heres the link again: http://www.iht.com/articles/2006/06/20/business/chip.php
  9. Yes there are some great enchanted gauntlets around, I love fighting with my hands too...... But don't fear about the limited inventory.... the amount you can carry increases the stronger you get :)
  10. in a nutshell: More Star Trek :) I think the Star Trek philosophy of '...to boldly go...etc' was the main premise of Voyager. A ship forced to explore the far reaches of our galaxy, all alone and far from home. Seeking out new life, not for exploration, but assistance. And also a test of StarFleet morals vs the great unknown.
  11. Actually the thing in Voyager that didn't live up to my expectations was Janeway. What a hypocrite: Follow the prime directive, don't follow the prime directive, save the crew at all costs, put them in danger by saving some alien, repremand crew for taking certain actions, then do something similar herself in the next episode, etc etc etc Her values never seemed consistant to me. But I do love the show, it did deliver what it set out to do, unlike 'ST:Enterprise' which was supposed to be about the founding of the Federation, and discovery of the 'famous' trek Aliens, but spent seasons chasing the Xindi, and episode aftre episode of personal character dramas.....
  12. hypotheticly: ........even though these "flat-foreheaded" Klingons were the influential side of life during the TOS era, I have the feeling the 'real' klingons eventually broke ranks and took over the Empire.
  13. hehe..nice one... For some reason i still like the HL2 physics engine better... (maybe thats just me..) BTW: I think the the 'Lord Arkay' loves Nirvana :)
  14. So... this fills in the time between the first half of Season2 finale epsiode & the Second half of that same episode? Weird, I wonder why they didn't just make an episode about it... or explain it more in the last one... ..but i suppose any BattleStar (whilst we wait for a new season) is good battlestar :)
  15. I've always wanted to say: HAPPY B'Day God :) ..oh & AmbSuvak :)
  16. I found this page of You know you've watched to much StarGate when... here's some examples: ..... 13) You Laugh when seeing a Jaffa cake. ..... 47)- You say everything tastes like chicken, even when you're a vegetarian. ...... off topic - BTW: What is this *rule# thingo that keeps appearing
  17. I must say that because of Oblivion, My Niteshdw forum time has been slackened. ...By at least triple... I think every spare computer hour is spent in Cyrodil :)
  18. ...... ...... .....>>>>>drools without typing thinking of all the possibilities of Enterprise on Enterprise Action<<<<<... ;)
  19. hahahahaha hardy har har!!! That is absolutley classic!!!! Great find there Slug :)
  20. for sure... ...mine always 'represent' what i am watching (& enjoying) currently.. If you'll notice my Avatar is from 'Tranformers' & sig. from DrWho. It will no doubt change this week ... as i've started watching Voyager again :)
  21. Hold on to your ring Mr Frodo! I think the Romulans are here! It seems that sometimes Fantasy can Become Scientific Reality: A Theoretical Blueprint for an Invisibility Cloak has just been reported. Wow!!! How cool would this be?
  22. So who out there has been on of these MagLev trains? It seems that China & Gemany have got together to Build new MagLev Railways...
  23. I think i'll just keep running Win2000 till the next Windows comes out :)
  24. Yeh... well now that Little Johnny (& the Conservitive Federal Liberal Party) have taken Uncle Georges advise and moved all of our (illegal) Immigration Detention centres offshore... (it's called the Pacific solution: The Government, in return for Money & Aid, built a whole lot of these disgracefull centres on lots of the small Pacific Island Nations..... Pretty much the same as Guantanamo Bay etc.... proving that we can be just like our good friends the USA ) So the Fedral Govt. is no longer responsible for anything that happens to these immigrants..... ...they had to do something to fill in the spin-cycle for the week... and therefore: Invent new laws to cause a scene. BTW: John Howard is currently in Canada, where he was met by thousands of Protesters, Protesting Oz's new Industrial Relations laws.
