  1. can anyone here honestly say they have NEVER looked at porn? or pron for that matter :p
  2. lol re soylent green hehehe not a bad idea to be able to trade recipes for gack, targ, and protein supplement 45 i love vegemite and marmite (not that I have had it for ages), most people that try it for the first time dont realise that you only use a SMALL amount it's not like peanut butter or something. BTW, what the hell is "mores" ??? I think let nature take its course with conversations, with the majority of the focus being on star trek and sci fi related or inspired issues. i'm not for censorship of topics, only behaviour perhaps I voted for the first option because I wanted to see the results, if status quo or all the above were an option I would have picked that
  3. I like strategy, first person shooter, rpg and the rare combinations of them hehe Still havent tried the star trek games yet. star wars commando didnt hold my attention either, played some of the jedi academy a while back.....that was okish
  4. I'd take a phaser over lightsaber anyday, requires less skill....plus you can shoot things from a distance without being spotted muhahahaha then I'm off on holidays weeeeeeee
  5. Maybe he would shake up the tank like a magic 8 ball :cyclops:

ROFL what a crack up. New York (CNN). At John F. Kennedy International Airport today, a Caucasian male (later discovered to be a high school mathematics teacher) was arrested trying to board a flight while in possession of a compass, a protractor and a graphical calculator. According to law enforcement officials, he is believed to have ties to the Al-Gebra network. He will be charged with carrying weapons of math instruction. It is only two weeks into the term that, in a calculus class, a student raises his hand and asks: "Will we ever need this stuff in real life?" The professor gently smiles at him and says: "Of course not - your real life will consist of flipping hamburgers at MacDonald's!" A visitor at a museum asks an employee: "Can you tell me how old the skeleton of that T-Rex is?" "It is precisely 60 million and three years, two months, and eighteen days old." "How can you know that with such precision?!" "Well, when I started working here, one of the scientists told me that the skeleton was 60 million years old - and that was precisely three years, two months, and eighteen days ago..."
  7. ROFLMAO do you have statistics and journal references to back up any of your claims? one photo and a dubious interpretation is far from proof.
  8. microwave cannon hehehe, I have this mental image of tv dinners flying through the air ;)
  9. I dont know if I would class them as the hottest :p but they certainly are devoted to one another....and arent they the only ones who had children?..... oh that's right, tom and bellana had a daughter
  10. please share some quotes that are important to you or that have changed your life. some of my favourites are: "Where the world ceases to be the scene of our personal hopes and wishes, where we face it as free beings admiring, asking and observing, there we enter the realm of Art and Science" Albert Einstein "Is all that we see or seem but a dream within a dream?' Edgar Allen Poe "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use" Galileo Galilei
  11. Yeah I also recommend E.E. Doc Smith, check out the Lensman series. Not many people I have spoken to have heard of him. But he is definately worth reading.
  12. ROFL :D I also hope it turns out for the best. They've been waiting long enough for freedom.
  13. I definately agree. using fear to control people....that sounds alot like the definition of terrorism

seven is a borg, she isnt supposed to have personality :p while I found neelix annoying at times, I'd still prefer to have him in the show. kes not hot enough? pfft that's a sad excuse to remove someone. But I spose if she stuck around, tom and belanna may not have gotten together. you know Tasha Yar left in the first season because there wasnt enough "action" for her character. what was she drunk? :stare:
  15. turning a solar sail driven ship to return back towards the sun wouldnt be a problem as long as there is a planet to slingshot around (and you retract the sails). the biggest problems definately is space debris and slowing down....at this stage I dont think there are any options other than using rockets to stop. sailing into the atmosphere could make a pretty lightshow, but wouldnt be particularly productive ;) Does anyone know of any other stopping methods?
  16. I was glad when they got back together. Same goes for trip and tepal. I think worf and dax are hot contenders also B)
  17. hehe, I'm more of a dog person myself, but I had to vote spot, he is almost comical in his interactions with data (vice versa)
  18. In Australia it is compulsory for everyone (elligable) to vote, it is probably easier for us because of the much lower population. If it were possible I would expect any democratic country to make it compulsory
  19. Yeah that Kor scene was very good, no doubt he died with honour. i must admit I'm a fan of the klingon drinking/war songs as well :cyclops:
  20. yeah I thought exactly the same thing when watching the sith
  21. although I think it says something about our free time hehe :cyclops:
  22. Spaceballs was a crackup! was just thinking of hiring it out the other day I dont know why people think a comedy movie being from the UK is a bad thing? I'll take UK comedy of US anyday.

I never found her to be too in our face, she was just incidental and certainly not as annoying as neelix. I thought woopie was good! :p I've always been a fan of hers though I just watched TNG decent 1 & 2 and I really dont think that steven hawkins put enough emotion into the reading of his lines :P lol speaking of acting ability, I was really impressed by seven's ability to swith personality quickly in the episode where a heap of borg personalities were taking over. personally I couldnt act to save my life :o
  24. I would suspect that the percentage of Catholic pedophiles is about the same as any other group of a billion people - but I'm willing to be corrected on that. I do agree with you about the "gay=pedophile" connection that so many people have in their minds. I think that study has been done and shows that the vast majority of child molestors are breeders. There were some statistics done that showed a larger percentage in the catholic community, damned if I can remember where I saw it though....I'll get back to you
