Yeah I can understand what you are saying. I think it would be nice to see a loving relationship. They dont need to show them having sex or long make out sessions to portray that. I certainly dont think anyone wants to see someone prancing around and (insert stereotype). The only time I see people acting like that is on tv and I doubt it is a gay person who has written the part. I personally dont want to see it as a central issue. If it never happens (and considering the show is over, probably never will) I wont lose sleep. I haven't spent all my time watching star trek in the hope that something would happen. That been said, an accurate potrail of love in all it's forms would be nice in society in general. Like c4 said, it's LOVE, being gay isnt about lisp, or liking ymca, or prancing, or (insert stereotype). transgender trek, now that's an interesting suggestion. A couple of years back I saw a Borg drag show, was really good hehehe :cyclops:

i'm currently doing a bachelor in mechanical engineering and space sciences which is rather interesting. Hoping to live the dream and get an interesting job with a space agency, probably europe. Doing my studies at the University of Queensland which is the world leader in scramjet technology among other things. I'll probably go for a phd at some stage, but maybe not straight away. whatever happens I am expecting to move overseas for work unless they finally build a launching facility far north Queensland. c'mon, make it so! :cyclops:

I'd like to beleive.....I think that's why I like star trek so much. We certainly have a long way to go. I'd also like to beleive in reincarnation so that way I can be around to see it :D

I liked the later tng ones. Although I thought the pilot uniforms tom and harry wore in the voyager episode when they entered into that race were really snappy with the white cant remember if B'Ellana wore one when she replaced harry :p

I always though all the series were lacking in attractive men. Out of the regular cast I would probably pick Travis. Riker at a stretch. Worf being really devoted and protective would be cool. I agree, Patrick Stewart did an excellent job. I havent really seen him in much else though...except jeffrey, and xmen, and moby dick, and robin hood, and dune, and conspiracy theory, and excaliber......ok i take it back, i've seen him in heaps. ;)

Last I bought was battlefield 1942 with the road to rome ad-on. I had originally downloaded bf1942, but loved it so much I had to own it. I really like the desert combat mod. So much versatility being able to drive tanks, fly helicopters.... A really good combination of a war shoot-em with strategy and simulator. Fantastic if you get a group of friends together to play over a network/internet

I'm waiting with anticipation cable tv here has only just started screening season 1. :stare: and the commercial stations are never consistant always willing to drop any star trek show for a sporting event :mad:
