Just saw episode 2 this show is the s##t, its my bag through and through. Its my current favourite show. You know I was reading comments about this show on another forum and some little dick weed said its not as good as the films! Well that could be something to do with the fact that James Cameron isnt directing it and it doesnt have a budget in the region of hundreds of millions of US dollars, although the first film was really just a B movie. Comments regarding episode 2...........I think I might buy a Vista laptop if that lady was selling it lmao! Let us see more of the Vista lady!

He could of just carried the gun in his bag lol Someone cutting their own leg open looks a little suspect! In the time it would of take him to get a job as a teacher at that school should of provided him with plenty of time to get hold of a weapon, unless the T100 terminators are now made to look like people of the past and replace them? But if you are going to bring a gun from the future, would you bring a crappy pistol or a plasma rifle? You would of thought that the T100 would have its over intergrated plasma weapons. Nit picking over with!

It seams to be a misconception that the Terminator T100 has to look like Arnie. In the best scene of the first film we see a T100, that looks nothing like arnie. I wonder if that bloke who played the T1000 would come back to do a few shows after hes finished with the Unit? My only criticism of the first show is.....why the hell did the Terminator stash a gun under his skin? Surely if he could get a job as a teacher dropping over to the gun shop to buy a pistol wouldnt be much bother!

Up to 8 MB ................you probably wont understand the joke unless you live in the UK. For those who dont live in the UK this is a marketing scam employed by ISP's in the UK, who can in theory say they are providing you with a service "Up to 8MB" when the reality is they are providing you with 1 MB. The good news is that the law is being changed and ISP's are now have to document the speed at which the connection they are selling is running at.

Thanks for the helpful advice TetsuoShima. I`m running I.E. 6 and Firefox on this machine both have the same issue. I cannot find any instances where there is a proxy setting enabled. But heres something funny......when I use another NIC in the machine of the exact same model I can connect. I actually thought it might be the router 'remembering' the card but I have reset the router and restored it to factory settings, to test both cards. I have tried to flush the DNS and all the usual stuff that you would try on machine that has stopped working....howevere this machine has a fresh intall. Should I just bin the card and move on?

I`m trying to use a LAN connection to access the internet on a Windows 2000 machine. I am able to ping www.yahoo.com and I can also ping the IP equivalent so I am pretty sure there is no DNS issue. Internet explorer seams to really want to connect, it displays the correct IP after Ive typed a URL in the address bar, then times out to "The Page Cannot Be Displayed". All dial up connections have been disabled and I have set up IE to look for a LAN connection. On the network settings the IP protocol is installed and configured to obtain an IP and DNS automatically. There is no firewall installed on the machine and there is no firewall running on the router which it is connected. Can anyone provide any pointers. Many thanks in advance.

Its like re-inventing the wheel.....it cannot be done. Thats why the film will flop. I once had a crazy idea about a James Bond undercover operative based in the TNG universe. Sort of like Daniels with out the time travel but more like Star Fleet Intelligence. There would be great potential to write scripts around any alien race or discovery in the history of Star Trek. Stealth ships with experimental technology. Anything really to take the theme away from big ships discovering stuff. The pilot would be set on Romulas and follow Federation agents, basically start where Nemesis left off. BY having shows based on an alien planets we would learn more about different races and the technologies could be developed further which were only discussed briefly in other series.

As Ive said before the idea of bringing on a new fan base to begin with is ill concieved. If Star Trek is to be remade then attention must be drawn back to the early days of TNG and into bringing all the original fans back. Only then will Star Trek be great again. Re-hire all the two technical researchers who worked on TNG and show a few familiar from TNG, DS9 or Voyager. I havent got a clue what the new series would consist of, I dont think most fans have. Maybe the Federation now uses another drive technology which allows them to explore even further in space or perhaps a new step in evolution for the Federation?

I suppose the new series does have one use and that is to frighten away unwanted attentions from someone of the opposite sex! That person wont be stopping round your home for a 'coffee' for very long! Just wack Robin Hood on and watch them flee!

As for the second best Robin Hood series.......that has to be Maid Marian and Her Merry Men..........anyone who says they dont like that is either retarded or has under gone extensive brain trauma which involved surgery and the removal the part of their brain labeled 'taste'. Has the best one liners of any kids TV series thanks to Tony Robinson.

The Costner film.........thank god they never made another the character was totally butchered. There is no one Ive ever met in Nottingham who knew the story of Robin Hood (although the reality was Robin spent more time in Lincolnshire) that didnt say that this was the best version ever made. The new series was too painful for me to watch. Firstly because of the incredible historical inaccuracy, the cheap props and crap acting. It grabbed me just as space filler saturday tea time drivel. TFMF if you want to see a proper Robin Hood then I suggest you watch the 1980's...........ahhhhhhhhhhhhh Robin....The Hooded Man.........dum dum. A far superior series in every respect. If you want to see serous deaths watch it, Will Scarlet and Little John are true to the folk lore of Robin not P's like in the new series. There are no crappy CGI effects that dont look realistic and when people get hit by swords and arrows they really do get hit by swords and arrows as the guys who did the stunts were pro jousters. The new Robin in my opinion is just too light hearted for a guy who is trying to depose an evil king who killed his father..........its just not serious enough considering the circumstances and not true to the legend. Good TV series it may be to some but what your watching isnt Robin Hood.
